Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced X-Ray Technologists for urgent day and overnight assignments. The ideal candidates will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, adhering to radiation protection standards, and collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team.

These are quick-start opportunities, and candidates must have no Requested Time Off (RTO) during the assignment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Operate and maintain radiographic imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and hospital policies.
  • Document imaging procedures accurately in the electronic medical record.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Active ARRT (R) certification.
  • Active state Radiologic Technologist license, if required.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Recent hospital-based X-ray experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently during the assigned shift.
Assignment Highlights
  • 13-week contract with potential extension
  • Two day-shift openings: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
  • One overnight opening: Wednesday–Saturday, 11:00 PM–9:30 AM
  • Quick start required
  • No Requested Time Off (RTO) accepted
