Locums - Cottonwood, Arizona | General Cardiology Opening (IMLC Accepted)
Clinical Role
Provide ongoing General Cardiology coverage in a hospital and clinic setting. The physician will manage outpatient Cardiology patients and perform cath procedures for their own patients.
Assignment Details
Coverage Dates:
- August 31–September 4, 2026
- September 14–18, 2026
- September 21–25, 2026
- September 28–October 2, 2026
- October 5–9, 12–16, 19–23, and 26–30, 2026
- November 2–6, 9–13, 23–25, and November 30–December 4, 2026
- December 7–11, 14–18, and 28–29, 2026
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- 1-hour unpaid lunch
- Overtime after scheduled shift
- Ongoing coverage
Clinical Details
- Hospital and clinic setting
- Approximately 18–24 clinic patients per day
- Adult patient population, primarily 60+
- Cath procedures for own patients
- MA, PCT, RN, and PA support
- Cerner EMR
Requirements
- Board Certified Cardiology – Required
- Minimum 2 years of experience – Required
- Active Arizona license or IMLC LOQ
- ACLS and BLS – Required
- Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills preferred
- Credentialing approximately 30 days
