Local Delivery Driver Full-Time (W2) Morning or Afternoon Shifts

Pay: $22.50/hour (W2)
Schedule: Morning or Afternoon shifts (flexibility to work either shift preferred)

Role Summary
As a Local Delivery Driver, you will safely and professionally deliver packages across the Greater Los Angeles area using company-provided vehicles. You will be the face of Gently, ensuring every delivery meets our high standards for speed, accuracy, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Safely load, transport, and deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in the Greater LA area
Execute optimized routes using company navigation systems and delivery apps
Scan packages accurately and provide real-time delivery confirmations
Deliver outstanding customer service with every interaction
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Load and unload packages efficiently while protecting product integrity
Return undelivered packages to the warehouse and complete daily route reconciliation
Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company delivery standards

Available Shifts
Full-time with rotating schedule to reach 3540 hours/week:
Morning Driver: 5:00 AM 1:00 PM
Afternoon Driver: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM

Qualifications
Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Strong customer service and communication skills
Comfortable using smartphone apps and navigation tools
Ability to work independently while representing the Gently brand
Prior delivery experience (Amazon, UPS, FedEx, DoorDash, etc.) is a plus (training provided)

Additional Requirements / Eligibility
Must be at least 21 years old
Must pass a background check and MVR (driving record) check
Comfortable driving throughout Greater LA and parking in dense/urban areas
Able to meet delivery deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to complete W2 onboarding documentation

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, carry, and load packages up to 50 lbs
Comfortable driving for extended periods and walking stairs as needed
Able to work in various weather conditions

What Success Looks Like
High on-time delivery rates, excellent customer satisfaction, zero safety incidents, accurate scanning/tracking, clean vehicle maintenance, and strong teamwork with warehouse and dispatch teams.
