Position Overview

Alpha Behavioral Wellness Therapy is seeking a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop tailored therapy strategies for each client, ensuring their unique needs are met.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions for individuals dealing with similar issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients, sharing insights and strategies to enhance treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal standards and ethical practices, utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software efficiently.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and advancements in mental health treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a varied population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our team specializes in providing care to clients who may have limited access to traditional mental health services, emphasizing inclusivity and tailored approaches to therapy.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas is essential.
  • At least two years of professional counseling experience, particularly in clinical settings, is required.
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to establish rapport with diverse clients and their families.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a healthcare team, demonstrating strong teamwork and cooperation skills.
  • Proficiency in EMR software and familiarity with technology used in remote counseling practices.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-informed care is highly valued.
  • Experience providing therapy in remote settings will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and client caseload. In addition to financial compensation, we provide:
