Job description

Applied Technical Services, LLC (“ATS” or the “Company”) is a leading provider of critical testing, inspection, certification, and compliance services. The Company serves clients across a diverse set of large and stable end markets including manufacturing, power generation, aerospace, medical, and defense. ATS is currently seeking a fulltime traveling Vibration Analysts for our subsidiary company Reliability Testing Services, LLC. This position is based around Sacramento, CA with possible travel to surrounding states. Responsible for data collection, data analysis/interpretation, & reporting in PdM technologies.

The traveling Vibration Analyst work with the Reliability Engineering teams to:
  • Vibration Analysis 
  • Infrared experience a plus
  • Offline Motor Testing Experience a plus
  • Experience with Emonitor Vibration Software a plus
  • Conduct vibration testing programs for a variety of equipment in the facilities
  • Perform testing, as required, to meet deadlines and workload requirements
  • Review customer specifications to support testing
  • Keep accurate record of all testing and strictly follow internal QA policies
  • Perform data collection activities as directed

Requirements – Technical

  • Level I/II/III Vibration certification by an ISO Accredited Firm Category I-IV
  • Strong mechanical skills
  • Offline Motor Testing experience a plus, but not required

  • Must have reliable transportation (we pay mileage reimbursement)

  • Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
  • Applicants must pass a drug screen and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Work Conditions:

  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
  • Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc. 
  • Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc. 
  • Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments. 
  • Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.
  • Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week and travel for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
