Advance scholarly book projects with PPI faculty, as outlined above;
Provide expertise on academic writing and publication in the form of idea development, book structure, audience and market analysis. Specific tasks will vary depending on the projects assigned, status and progress of draft manuscripts, and individual faculty authors' experience and needs.
This Postdoctoral Fellowship comes with a salary of $65,000. Funding for the position is provided by the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) and Purdue Polytechnic Institute (PPI) at Purdue University.

Required:
Ph.D. in English, Rhetoric & Composition, Communication, Writing for the Sciences, Science and Technology Studies, or a closely related discipline.
Preferred:

The successful applicant will be expected to have experience in at least some of the following: project management; drafting a manuscript for publication; editing and proofreading; compiling and translating data into effective visual contexts (tables, charts, etc.); rendering a content expert's specialized language (jargon) into clear, effective prose.
The College and University
