Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite, providing care in patients' homes within the West McLean area. Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist at Advent Care, you will be responsible for:

• Evaluating, planning, and implementing personalized treatment programs for patients referred by their physicians.
• Utilizing your expertise to manage a diverse patient caseload, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Delivering exceptional customer service and coordinating closely with our multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes through collaborative care.
• Providing skilled therapeutic interventions at patients' homes, using specialized techniques aimed at enhancing their function and promoting recovery in alignment with each physician’s treatment plan.
• Educating patients and their caregivers on effective treatment protocols and self-management strategies to optimize rehabilitation.
• Achieving and maintaining utilization goals and contributing to the business’s overall objectives of excellence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position must possess the following:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, from an accredited program recognized by the APTA or CAPTE.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy, with current CPR Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex information and foster strong relationships with patients.
• Proficient word processing and computer skills for documentation and clinical reporting purposes.
• A strong desire to build relationships and connect authentically with patients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
• A proactive attitude towards community engagement and building lasting professional relationships.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is required, candidates with further experience, particularly in home care or specialized clinics, will be given preference. Additionally, possessing a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) will enhance your application, showcasing advanced clinical knowledge and skills that align with our mission of delivering outstanding patient care.
