Role Description: This full-time Low Voltage Technician role is a hybrid position based in Elton,Pa. The Low Voltage Technician will install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems and related electrical equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation. Daily tasks include running and terminating cables, performing inspections, troubleshooting system issues, and supporting upgrades and modifications to existing installations. The role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings and documentation, coordinating with project managers and other technicians, and maintaining accurate records of work performed. The technician will follow safety standards, comply with hospital safety standards,and remain compliant with all local codes.
Qualifications:
Strong foundation in Electricity and Electrical Engineering relevant to low voltage systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Electrical Maintenance and Electrical Equipment in technical or field environments.
  • Proficient Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving issues in low voltage and related electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Familiarity with industry safety practices, codes, and standards for electrical and low voltage work.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Relevant technical certification or vocational training in electrical, electronics, or low voltage systems; military or defense-related experience is a plus.
  • Capability to lift and carry equipment, climb ladders, and work in various on-site conditions as required.
