Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to perform your therapeutic duties from the comfort of your own home or any private space conducive to confidential client interactions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions remotely, utilizing telehealth platforms to maintain accessibility and rapport with clients.
• Perform thorough assessments to identify clients' needs, strengths, and challenges, leading to the development of personalized and effective treatment plans.
• Employ a range of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness strategies, to help clients achieve their mental health goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress in accordance with best practices and HIPAA regulations.
• Engage in regular collaboration with team members to ensure clients receive comprehensive care, including referrals to additional resources or specialists when needed.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to improve clinical skills and stay updated with industry standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families from various cultural backgrounds seeking support for a wide range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, grief, and life transitions. Your ability to establish rapport and trust with clients will be essential for fostering therapeutic alliances that promote healing and growth.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
• A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience in providing clinical social work services.
• Proficient in conducting diagnostic assessments and creating tailored treatment plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Commitment to cultural competence and social justice, with an ethical approach to therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with underserved populations or in community-based settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and teletherapy tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, with negotiable compensation based on your experience and qualifications.
