Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team at Adapt Psychotherapy Services. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to meet each client's unique needs.
• Thoroughly assess clients' mental health needs through diagnostic interviews, standardized assessments, and personal history reviews, resulting in individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
• Engage in regular collaboration with other healthcare professionals within our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and holistic treatment approaches.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client sessions and treatment progress using our electronic health record system, adhering to both ethical and legal standards.
• Facilitate crisis intervention sessions when necessary, providing immediate support and strategies for clients in distress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The client base at Adapt Psychotherapy Services is diverse, encompassing a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and presenting issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and trauma. As an LMFT, you will work closely with individuals and families to empower them in navigating their challenges, fostering resilience and personal growth. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
• A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure clinical experience providing therapy services.
• Proficient in conducting diagnostic assessments and formulating effective treatment plans.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating an ability to connect with clients from diverse populations and backgrounds.
• A commitment to cultural humility, ethical practice, and the promotion of social justice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a remote environment is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with telehealth services and digital documentation practices.
• Prior experience integrating family systems theory in therapy practices.
