Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Adamson Physical Therapy, your daily tasks will encompass a variety of clinical responsibilities designed to facilitate optimal patient recovery:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine individual rehabilitation needs.
• Develop tailored treatment plans and immediate goals that align with the patient’s overall health objectives.
• Utilize hands-on therapy techniques, including joint mobilization, soft tissue massage, and therapeutic exercises, to alleviate pain and promote mobility.
• Instruct patients on therapeutic exercises and educate them on lifestyle modifications to support their recovery process.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and communication regarding patient progress and needs.
• Participate in weekly team meetings to share insights, discuss complex cases, and maintain a cohesive treatment approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse population of patients who are recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions. Your role will involve providing care to individuals of all ages dealing with musculoskeletal issues, which means adapting your approach based on each patient’s specific needs and recovery goals.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; advanced degrees such as a Master’s or Doctorate are preferred.
• Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure in Nevada as a Physical Therapist.
• A proven track record of a strong commitment to patient care, demonstrating empathy and effective communication skills.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience in a clinical setting is required, prior expertise in outpatient orthopedic therapy is a plus. Compensation and Benefits
