Job Description

Acumatica is seeking a Director of Partner Marketing to lead our Partner Marketing team in Bellevue, WA. This is a full-time role.

What We Do

Our Partner Marketing team supports an ecosystem of 600+ VARs, ISVs, and Alliance partners by building and developing programs, platforms, and tools aimed at enabling our partners to successfully market Acumatica.

What You'll Do

As Director of Partner Marketing, you will drive strategy and oversee the execution of marketing programs and campaigns for our fast-growing ecosystem of value-added resellers (VARs), ISVs, and Alliance partners. In this role, you will manage a team of two experienced partner marketing professionals. You will combine outstanding leadership skills with deep expertise in the partner ecosystem and a clear understanding of Acumatica's business objectives to lead all partner marketing initiatives.

This role requires superior people management skills, an innovative mindset, a strong work ethic, and a proven record of working with executive teams of top Tier 1 VARs (CEOs, CMOs). You will lead, coach, and manage a team of two full-time employees, along with contractors and marketing agencies, while closely collaborating with Acumatica's leaders and executives, including the SVP of Sales and SVP of Partner Strategy and Programs. A successful candidate will be proactive, results-oriented, innovative, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. Excellent understanding and experience with partner marketing technologies, including new AI-powered tools, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Build and drive Acumatica's partner marketing strategy, including tailored approaches for VARs, ISVs, and Alliance partners.
• Lead and manage a high-performing partner marketing team consisting of full-time employees, contractors, and agencies.
• Build, scale, and optimize partner marketing programs leveraging Acumatica's Marketing Automation Platform, Social Syndication Platform, and other tools.
• Guide and coach the team in creating and delivering communications and plans to drive awareness and adoption of Acumatica Partner Marketing Programs.
• Host and lead calls with top executives of Tier 1 partners, provide expert advice and feedback on partners' marketing performance, and attend Tier 1 partner QBRs as part of Acumatica's leadership team.
• Oversee Acumatica's Alliance Partner Marketing, lead calls with Alliance Partner executives when needed, and play a key role in removing barriers both within and outside Acumatica.
• Collaborate closely with Acumatica's marketing leaders-including the VP of Integrated Marketing, VP of Product Marketing, VP of Communications, and others-to ensure alignment and collaboration.
• Educate and inform partner sales and partner enablement teams on Partner Marketing Programs and Platforms.
• Drive innovation in partner marketing enablement tools and programs, including implementing AI technologies in partner marketing processes and the tech stack.
• Take responsibility and accountability for program performance, regularly updating the executive team on results.
• Innovate and expand our marketing technology portfolio to ensure modern, best-in-class execution and efficiency for partner marketing capabilities.
• Manage the partner marketing budget, including Joint Marketing Funds, Partner Programs, marketing retainers, and software fees.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in B2B partner marketing and demand generation in high-technology, channel-driven companies.
• 7+ years of partner marketing experience.
• 7+ years of experience managing and building integrated marketing campaigns.
• Strong record of success in building and scaling global partner programs.
• Excellent program management and organizational skills.
• Superior communication skills, including public speaking experience; comfortable with executive audiences and able to influence key decision-makers.
• Strong analytical skills; experience collecting and interpreting data from multiple sources to make solid business recommendations. Advanced proficiency in Excel, Tableau, and HubSpot.
• Solid understanding of marketing techniques and ability to apply them to partner needs. Ability to generate fresh ideas for partner-led marketing programs and develop new approaches.
• Ability and willingness to implement new tools and technologies.
• Strong combination of strategic expertise with a hands-on, results-oriented, and agile approach.

For this role, the salary range is $170,000-190,000 annually. This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job and may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant elements.

At Acumatica, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
