Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
  • Document patient progress comprehensively through clear, legible progress notes entered by the end of each shift, detailing the progress in relation to treatment goals.

  • Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient workflow during client sessions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals, couples, and families, each facing unique mental health challenges. Your therapeutic services will cover various issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflicts, and adjustment disorders. As part of a community health clinic, you will engage with patients from different socioeconomic backgrounds and cultural perspectives, making cultural competence and empathetic communication crucial aspects of your work.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field.
  • A valid and independent mental health license (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) issued by the state board; provisional licenses will not be accepted.
  • Exceptional skills in making professional evaluations and recommendations for treatment based on clinical assessments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor, enabling effective relationships with clients.
  • Proficient with technology and electronic health records to maintain documentation and communication.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in community health settings or with diverse populations.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic methods and crisis intervention techniques.
  • Experience in teletherapy or telehealth services is a plus.
