Job description

Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Technician
Job Summary
The Mobile Maintenance Technician is responsible for traveling to multiple properties to perform general maintenance, repairs, and service requests. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong troubleshooting skills who can work independently while maintaining high-quality standards and customer service. Vehicle to be provided.
Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to assigned properties to complete maintenance and repair tasks
  • Perform general repairs including:
    • Drywall patching and painting
    • Minor plumbing repairs (leaks, fixtures, toilet resets)
    • Basic electrical work (light fixtures, outlets, switches)
    • Door and window repairs/replacements
  • Complete exterior maintenance such as:
    • Pressure washing
    • Minor carpentry and trim repairs
    • Railing and deck repairs
  • Diagnose issues and determine appropriate solutions in the field
  • Communicate clearly with property managers, tenants, and team members
  • Document work performed, including photos and notes
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle (if provided)
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of general maintenance or handyman experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of basic construction, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders as needed
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills
  • Experience in property management or apartment maintenance
  • Familiarity with work order systems or mobile apps
  • Basic understanding of preventative maintenance practices

Work Environment
  • Field-based position traveling to multiple job sites daily
  • Work performed indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
  • May require occasional evening or weekend work

  • This position requires reliability, professionalism, and the ability to represent the company positively while on-site
  • Technician must be comfortable working alone and in a team environment
  • Have the ability to make decisions in the field

Pay Range: $23 - $25 per hour
