Maintenance Technician:  Grande Shores Resort

Job description: As themaintenance worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cosmeticappearance and the mechanical function of the resort buildings and grounds, inboth the interior and exterior of the property. The ideal candidate willhave experience and knowledge in a wide range of hotel up keeping. Thetechnician will complete work orders assigned by the supervisor while followingsafety regulations and respecting guests.

Responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to:

        Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures;report any maintenance problems/safety hazards

        Performs maintenance and repairs with a minimum of guestdisturbance

        Replacement of light fixtures, fixing drywall/ wallpaper,painting

        Repairing of broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damageand restore full use of water fixtures; other light plumbing work as needed

        Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severedwire occurs, along with other light electrical work

        Ability to diagnosis HVAC matters, upkeep and resolve simplematters

        Appliance, furniture, and fixture repairs as needed

        Completes all work orders in a timely and detailed manner percompany program standards

        Execution of scheduled preventative maintenance

        Maintains all storage areas and work spaces in a clean, safe andsecure manner

Requirements:

        Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends andholidays

        Previous experience in a similar field

        Able to work independently

Workingknowledge of basic plumbing, electrical skills, preventive maintenanceprocedures, and reasonable understanding of building equipment and hand tools
