The primary focus of this role is to provide exceptional mental health services to individuals and families, guiding them toward personal growth and emotional wellness.

About the Organization

ATI Behavioral Institute is a pioneering mental health service provider committed to enhancing accessibility for those experiencing mental health challenges. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive environment where individuals can receive tailored assistance through our team of experienced professionals. Our mission is to break down barriers to mental health care, ensuring that every patient receives the attention and support they deserve.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience in delivering care. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals across various disciplines, all dedicated to improving patient outcomes. While working remotely, our organization utilizes state-of-the-art electronic medical record (EMR) software to ensure seamless communication, documentation, and coordination of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to develop personalized therapy treatment plans that align with their specific needs.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, using a variety of therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, actively ensuring confidentiality and security of patient information.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in relevant workshops and training to stay abreast of the latest trends and research in mental health treatment.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare providers to provide holistic and comprehensive care for all clients, including referrals to other services when necessary.
  • Manage a caseload of clients, conducting regular follow-up sessions and assessments to evaluate progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCPC will work primarily with underserved populations who may have limited access to mental health services. This includes individuals dealing with a range of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our approach is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive, recognizing the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our clients.

Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline is required.
  • Must possess active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Kansas.
  • Minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical environment is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with diverse populations and establish therapeutic rapport effectively.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legal and ethical guidelines related to counseling and mental health.
  • Proficiency in using EMR software and familiarity with digital communication tools in a remote setting.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a team-based environment and within a community health model.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans for you and your dependents.
  • Malpractice insurance covered by the organization to ensure your peace of mind while practicing.
  • Access to client referrals, significantly contributing to your client base and professional growth.
  • Support with billing and documentation tasks to reduce your workload and allow you to focus on patient care.
  • Opportunity to earn a generous sign-on bonus upon joining our team, which will be detailed during the interview process.

At ATI Behavioral Institute, we value your professional development and provide various pathways for career advancement. Engage in specialized training and mentoring programs designed to enhance your clinical skills and therapeutic approaches.
