Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations to determine their physical condition, range of motion, and functional abilities through a series of standardized tests and assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that address each patient's unique rehabilitation needs, incorporating evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Implement hands-on physical therapy techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to promote healing and recovery.
  • Provide patient education on self-management strategies, proper body mechanics, and injury prevention, ensuring patients engage actively in their healing process.
  • Continuously monitor patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to adapt to changing needs and improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists, physicians, and specialists to coordinate comprehensive care for our patients.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment interventions and outcomes in compliance with health regulations and organizational policies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse patient population, including individuals dealing with post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain conditions, injuries from sports or accidents, and age-related mobility challenges. You will work with patients of various age groups, tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs of each individual—whether they're recovering from a recent injury or managing a long-term condition.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
  • Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is required.
  • A minimum of five years of clinical experience in a similar outpatient setting is preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in contemporary physical therapy techniques, modalities, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess rehabilitation needs accurately and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and work effectively with the healthcare team.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in outpatient rehabilitation focusing on orthopedic and neurological conditions.
  • Familiarity with the latest advancements in physical therapy technologies and practices.
  • Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain patient documentation efficiently.
