Position Summary

The Employee Benefits Risk Advisor is responsible for generating new business while serving as a trusted consultant to employers regarding employee benefits strategies and risk management solutions.

Working alongside internal service teams, this individual will build long-term client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand and retain business.


Responsibilities

  • Develop new Employee Benefits business
  • Build relationships with business owners, HR leaders, CFOs and executive decision makers
  • Prospect through networking, referrals and Centers of Influence
  • Conduct employee benefits reviews
  • Present customized benefit strategies
  • Cross-sell additional agency services
  • Maintain long-term client relationships
  • Collaborate with Client Managers during implementation and renewals
  • Participate in community and professional organizations
  • Achieve individual production goals


Qualifications

  • Employee Benefits sales experience
  • Active Life & Health Insurance License
  • Proven success generating new business
  • Strong consultative sales skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
