Job description

As the Regional General Manager, Honeywell Brands & Connected Solutions for BMS Americas, you will own end-to-end business performance and strategic execution for Honeywell Brands and the connected building growth agenda across the U.S. and Americas BMS market. The role requires full general-management leadership across strategy, orders and revenue growth, P&L performance, channel execution, offering alignment, customer outcomes, and cross-functional operating cadence.
The BMS business provides integrated hardware and software solutions for controlling, monitoring, and optimizing building systems, including HVAC, energy management, controllers, gateways, field devices, software platforms, and IoT-enabled analytics. Honeywell's BMS strategy is to serve as the building IoT backbone with autonomous solutions enabled by Niagara, Niagara Cloud, connected offerings, and cloud-based Honeywell Forge capabilities. This GM will accelerate the transition from product-centric selling to outcome-led, connected building solutions through Honeywell and Alerton channels, strategic partners, OEMs, system integrators, contractors, and end users.
The leader will be accountable for scaling connected offerings such as Remote Building Manager base connectivity, Predictive Maintenance, Carbon & Energy Management, Connected Power, Insight Builder, Site Manager, Hospitality Essential, API-enabled data access, and related Honeywell Forge for Buildings capabilities. The role must also strengthen core BAS and GFD execution, improve partner productivity, guide demand generation in priority verticals, and build a high-performing team capable of delivering profitable growth and customer value.
Success in this role means: delivering the Honeywell Brands plan, expanding Connected Solutions adoption through the channel, strengthening customer experience and execution discipline, and positioning BMS as a connected, cloud-enabled, AI-supported platform for building performance.
Travel Requirement: This role requires the ability to travel approximately 50-75% of the time, including domestic and, as needed, international travel to support business objectives, customer engagements, and team collaboration.

  • Lead pipeline reviews, QBR/MBR preparation, AOP/STRAP inputs, risk management, issue resolution, and action tracking.
  • Balance near-term commitments with portfolio transformation, including NPI adoption, channel excellence, connected offerings, and software/cloud monetization.

Honeywell Brands, Channel, and Partner Execution
  • Lead Honeywell Brands go-to-market across distribution, wholesalers, OEMs, contractors, strategic accounts, and partners.
  • Strengthen partner engagement, coverage, specifications, demos, roadshows, training, and demand generation for growth verticals and connected-ready accounts.
  • Improve seller, engineer, integrator, and partner productivity through enablement on connected offerings, software tools, and outcome-based selling.
  • Partner across Alerton, OEM/GFD, BAS, sales, marketing, offering, support, CX, finance, legal, ISC, and services to remove barriers.

Connected Solutions and Honeywell Forge Growth

  • Drive adoption of Honeywell Forge for Buildings, including RBM, Predictive Maintenance, CEM, Connected Power, Insight Builder, API Marketplace, Site Manager, and vertical offerings.
  • Champion use cases that improve efficiency, energy/carbon performance, maintenance, remote visibility, service productivity, and portfolio decisions.
  • Ensure sellers and partners can clearly explain the technology, security, deployment, support, and value of Connected Solutions.

Portfolio, Product, and NPI Leadership
  • Partner with offering and product marketing on VOC, channel feedback, feature priorities, NPI readiness, launches, training, and adoption.
  • Support roadmaps for BAS controllers, Optimizer, tools, Niagara/Niagara Cloud, starter kits, Forge Gateway, connected enhancements, GFD, and field devices.
  • Use customer and partner feedback to improve tools, quality, lead times, pricing/quote-to-order workflows, and technical support.
  • Translate product and software strategy into a commercial plan that improves adoption, win rate, and outcomes.

Customer Outcomes, Commercial Excellence, and Cross-Functional Execution
  • Sponsor executive customer and partner engagements, escalations, and high-value opportunities in priority verticals and multisite portfolios.
  • Improve customer experience by addressing quality, fulfillment, pricing, tools, and support issues with CX, support, ISC, finance, sales ops, and offering teams.
  • Build discipline around pipeline quality, forecasting, operating rigor, VOC, and action ownership.
  • Ensure activities comply with Honeywell policies, safety expectations, legal requirements, compliance standards, and confidentiality obligations.

People Leadership and Culture
  • Build an inclusive, empowered leadership team with clear accountability, decision rights, talent development, and succession plans.
  • Model customer obsession, accountability, transparency, candid feedback, collaboration, growth mindset, and breakthrough thinking.
  • Develop leaders and commercial capability across GM, sales, offering, application engineering, and connected solutions pipelines.
  • Foster collaboration across BMS, HBS, BA, partners, and adjacent Honeywell businesses to improve customer and business outcomes.

Qualifications
You Must Have
  • 10 + years of progressive commercial, general management, offering, sales, or business leadership experience in building automation, HVAC controls, industrial automation, software-enabled solutions, connected buildings, or related technology markets.
  • Proven experience leading a P&L, major commercial region, business unit, or strategic growth portfolio with accountability for revenue, margin, forecast quality, and operating cadence.
  • Demonstrated success leading channel-based and project-driven go-to-market models, including distributors, OEMs, contractors, system integrators, strategic accounts, or partner ecosystems.
  • Experience scaling software, SaaS, cloud, IoT, analytics, lifecycle services, or connected solutions through a commercial organization.
  • Ability to influence matrixed stakeholders across sales, marketing, product, technical support, operations, services, finance, legal, HR, and executive leadership.
