Job description

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Wind Turbine Technician Supervisor to oversee field operations across the Midwest region. This role leads turbine maintenance crews, ensures safety compliance, and maintains operational excellence at multiple wind farm sites throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of wind turbine technicians
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and major component replacements (gearboxes, generators, blades, yaw systems)
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety standards
  • Lead job safety analyses (JSA) and safety meetings
  • Manage preventative maintenance schedules and service reporting
  • Train and mentor technicians to enhance skillsets and performance
  • Communicate with project managers and site leadership
  • Ensure uptime goals and productivity targets are met
  • Participate in travel assignments and on-call rotations as needed

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of wind turbine technician experience
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience with major OEM platforms (GE, Vestas, Siemens Gamesa preferred)
  • Strong electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
  • OSHA 10/30 certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to climb turbines daily (250-300+ feet)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • High school diploma or GED (Technical degree preferred)
