As a full-time position, the working hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a work-life balance while delivering vital services to our patients. As a Dermatology Physician Assistant at Radiance Skin Dermatology, your essential responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive physical examinations and obtaining detailed medical histories from patients.
• Assisting our board-certified dermatologist in diagnosing and developing treatment plans for various skin conditions ranging from acne to psoriasis.
• Performing minor surgical procedures, which include but are not limited to suturing, biopsies, and other therapeutic interventions.
• Educating patients on skincare regimens and strategies to prevent and manage skin diseases effectively.
• Prescribing appropriate medications and follow-up treatments as necessary based on patient evaluations.
• Ordering, interpreting, and discussing laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging with patients to guide treatment decisions.

To qualify for the Dermatology Physician Assistant position, candidates must possess the following:

• Current and active Physician Assistant certification.

• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, with at least two years of documented experience.
• A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a tightly-knit team, ensuring high standards of patient care.

Candidates with advanced training or experience in dermatology-specific procedures and who have successfully completed a dermatology-focused training program will be given preference. Additionally, the ability to manage a caseload of patients autonomously is highly regarded.
