Job description

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking an IOS Developer-Build and Release for our client in the Software domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Location: Remote

Salary: $50.00-$55.00/Hourly

Role: IOS Developer-Build and Release

Primary Skills: iOS

Role Description: The IOS Developer-Build and Release must have 2+ years of experience. For this role, you must be a skilled Mobile Build and Release Engineer with a strong focus on iOS to own and optimize the mobile CI/CD pipeline.

You will play a key role in ensuring the iOS app is built, tested, signed, and deployed quickly and reliably. This role is essential for improving the speed and stability of the release process through automation and scripting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for iOS apps.

- Automate build, test, code signing, and deployment processes using Fastlane, shell scripts, and other tools.

- Collaborate with iOS developers and QA to ensure build reliability and high release quality.

- Manage provisioning profiles, certificates, and app signing workflows.

- Troubleshoot and resolve build and deployment issues efficiently.

- Maintain and improve build scripts written in Swift, Python, or Ruby as needed (no app feature development).

- Monitor build and release performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Required Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in mobile build and release engineering, with recent experience on iOS.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.

- Proficient with scripting languages such as Swift (for scripting), Python, Ruby, and shell.

- Deep understanding of iOS build tools, code signing, and provisioning.

- Experience with Fastlane for automating iOS release workflows.

- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in build/release environments.

- Familiarity with Git and branching strategies.

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience
