The Cloud Solutions Lead Developer is responsible for improving and extending the Lennox HCS IoT platform, focusing on solution design, implementation, testing, and guiding software safely and efficiently to production.

  • Lead and mentor developers while actively participating in the design, development, testing, and deployment of cloud-based applications using Azure, .NET, and Angular technologies.
  • Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to define and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable cloud solution architectures aligned with enterprise and IoT platform standards.
  • Use AI-assisted developer tools (such as GitHub Copilot or similar) throughout the entire SDLC-including requirements understanding, coding, unit testing, code reviews, refactoring, documentation, and production troubleshooting-to improve development velocity and quality.
  • Ensure high code quality standards through best practices such as clean architecture, automated testing, peer reviews, and observability.
  • Design and implement secure application and system integrations, including internal enterprise systems, cloud services, and external/third-party APIs using RESTful, event-driven, or messaging-based patterns.
  • Address and remediate SAST and DAST findings, working closely with security and DevSecOps teams to reduce vulnerabilities, improve secure coding practices, and prevent recurrence.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development with a strong emphasis on .NET / C#.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and operating Azure-based cloud solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET / .NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks (Angular preferred; React or Vue acceptable).
  • Solid experience with Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure DevOps, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, containers, Kubernetes, and cloud-native design patterns.
  • Experience with application security, including secure coding practices, vulnerability management, and remediation of SAST/DAST findings.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity, access management, and secure service-to-service communication.
  • Experience integrating applications with internal systems, external partners, and third-party platforms.
  •  Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, Git-based source control, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience using AI-powered developer tools to improve engineering efficiency, code quality, and documentation
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex, distributed systems.
