Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Application Support professional to provide L2 functional support for Zycus procurement applications. The role focuses on incident resolution, functional analysis, configuration support, and close collaboration with business users and technical teams to ensure stable and efficient Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Source-to-Contract (S2C) operations.
Key Responsibilities
Application Support
  • Provide L2 functional support for Zycus applications including:
  • iSupplier
  • iContract
  • iSource
  • iSave
  • iAnalyze
  • iRequest (as applicable)
  • Handle incidents, service requests, and problem tickets escalated from L1 support.
  • Analyze functional issues, identify root causes, and provide timely resolutions.
  • Ensure SLA adherence and effective communication with business and IT stakeholders.

Functional Analysis & Configuration
  • Understand and support business processes related to Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Source-to-Contract (S2C).
  • Perform configuration changes, master data updates, and rule validations within Zycus applications.
  • Support user access management, roles, approval workflows, and catalog configurations.

User & Stakeholder Interaction
  • Work closely with business users to understand issues and provide functional guidance.
  • Conduct impact analysis for incidents and system changes.
  • Assist in user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities.

Collaboration & Escalation
  • Coordinate with technical teams for data fixes, integrations, or code-related issues.
  • Liaise with Zycus Product Support for unresolved issues or product-level defects.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain incident logs, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend process or system improvements.
  • Support audits, compliance checks, and periodic system health reviews.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong functional knowledge of Zycus procurement applications.
  • Hands-on experience in L2 production support.
  • Good understanding of procurement and sourcing business processes (P2P, S2C).
  • Experience with incident, problem, and service request management.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Experience in configuration and master data management.

Technical Skills
  • ITSM tools: ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of system integrations (ERP, APIs, batch jobs).
  • Ability to read application logs and work closely with technical teams.
  • Exposure to front-end technologies such as Angular UI, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS (support perspective).
  • Awareness of mobile platforms (iOS - Swift, Android - Java) is a plus.
