It's a great time to join team acac! We are seeking an enthusiastic Dance Fitness/Zumba Instructor to lead high-energy classes in our vibrant studio. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dance, a motivating personality, and experience in creating engaging and effective workouts. Join our team and inspire our members to move, sweat, and have fun!

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a passion for fitness, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive class environment.

Requirements

Physical Demands

  • Current AFAA or ACE Primary Group Ex certification and/or related specialty certification (Les Mills, Zumba, AEA, CPT...)
  • Must be able to successfully demonstrate proper exercise techniques
  • Must be able to actively participate in classes
  • Must be in excellent physical condition to teach classes 
  • Must be able to stand, move, walk, and bend for the duration of a shift
  • Must have the ability and willingness to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Required competencies, education, and experience
  • Current certification in indoor cycling instruction
  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Prior experience teaching group exercise classes is highly desired
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Must have excellent communication skills to work positively with different populations
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Club cleanliness is an all-team responsibility; assist whenever necessary in any area of the club to keep club neat and clean

  • Promptly respond to work-related correspondence
