What is a Ziegler?

A Ziegler, in a traditional context, is a craftsman or tradesperson who specializes in brickmaking or tile-making, particularly in German-speaking countries. The term 'Ziegler' can also refer to workers involved in the production of ceramic building materials. These professionals are skilled in preparing clay, shaping bricks or tiles, and firing them in kilns to produce durable construction materials. The role requires knowledge of materials, kiln operation, and quality standards for building products.
