How much do zero gravity jobs pay per year?

As of Jul 11, 2026, the average yearly pay for zero gravity in the United States is $51,962.00, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $37,500.00 and $58,500.00 per year, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What professions make 500,000 a year?

Professions that can earn $500,000 or more annually include specialized roles such as surgeons, anesthesiologists, corporate executives, investment bankers, and successful entrepreneurs. These positions typically require advanced education, extensive experience, and often involve high levels of responsibility, skill, and performance-based bonuses or profit sharing.

What is a Zero Gravity job?

A Zero Gravity job typically refers to roles related to working in microgravity environments, such as astronauts, aerospace engineers, or researchers conducting experiments in space. These jobs can be within space agencies like NASA or private space companies such as SpaceX and Blue Origin. Some positions focus on designing, testing, and maintaining technology used in space, while others study the effects of zero gravity on materials and the human body.

What professions make 200,000 a year without a degree?

In high-paying roles related to zero gravity environments, aerospace technicians, commercial pilots, and certain specialized engineering or technical positions can earn $200,000 or more annually without a traditional college degree, often requiring extensive experience, certifications, or specialized training. These jobs typically involve working in aerospace, aviation, or research settings and may demand skills in technical troubleshooting, safety protocols, and equipment operation.

How to make $10,000 a month without a degree?

Zero Gravity roles, often in specialized or high-demand fields, can offer high earning potential through skills like technical expertise, sales, or freelance work. Building experience, developing relevant skills, and leveraging online platforms or contracts can help achieve this income level without a formal degree.

Why were 92,000 jobs lost?

The loss of 92,000 jobs can be attributed to economic downturns, industry declines, or company restructuring, which often impact employment levels across various sectors. For roles like Zero Gravity positions, layoffs may also result from budget cuts or shifts in project priorities, requiring affected workers to adapt to changing job markets.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Zero Gravity position, and why are they important?

To excel in a zero gravity specialist role (such as a microgravity research technician or astronaut), you need a strong background in physics, engineering, or life sciences, often supported by advanced degrees and relevant field experience. Familiarity with laboratory equipment, simulation software, and specialized certifications like SCUBA or flight training are often required. Excellent problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and clear communication are vital soft skills due to the collaborative and unpredictable nature of zero gravity environments. These skills ensure safe, efficient operations and high-quality research outcomes in the demanding context of microgravity work.

What are some typical responsibilities of a zero gravity specialist during a microgravity experiment or mission?

As a zero gravity specialist, your daily tasks might include preparing and calibrating scientific equipment, conducting experiments in simulated or actual microgravity environments, and meticulously recording and analyzing data. You’ll also be responsible for troubleshooting unexpected technical issues and ensuring adherence to strict safety and protocol guidelines. Regular collaboration with multidisciplinary teams—including engineers, researchers, and mission control staff—is a core aspect of the role. This fast-paced environment requires adaptability and attention to detail, making every project both challenging and rewarding for those passionate about advancing space science.

About Elite Insurance Partners

At Elite Insurance Partners, we are building a modern, digital-first insurance experience designed around speed, simplicity, and customer experience. As we continue to scale, we are bringing our front-end development fully in-house to create faster execution, stronger ownership, and better user experiences across our platforms.

We’re a high-performance, collaborative team where ideas move quickly, impact is visible, and great work is recognized.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Front-End Engineer to take ownership of the customer-facing front-end experience across our digital platforms.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong engineering skills with a sharp eye for user experience and product thinking. You’ll help shape how customers interact with our platform by building fast, intuitive, and scalable interfaces that directly impact engagement and conversion. You won’t be operating in a silo or simply handed tickets to complete. You’ll work closely with leadership and stakeholders to influence product direction, improve usability, and elevate the overall customer experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain modern, responsive customer-facing applications using React
  • Own front-end features from concept through production deployment
  • Collaborate on UX decisions, interaction patterns, and interface improvements
  • Translate business requirements into intuitive and scalable user experiences
  • Improve performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and maintainability across applications
  • Help evolve and improve an existing front-end codebase transitioned from external contractors
  • Prototype and iterate quickly while maintaining production-quality standards
  • Optimize user flows and conversion-focused experiences
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to continuously improve the digital customer journey

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of professional front-end development experience
  • Strong expertise in React and modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience building scalable, maintainable front-end architectures
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, UX principles, and modern UI patterns
  • Experience developing consumer-facing web applications
  • Ability to balance technical execution with user experience considerations
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally in fast-paced environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mentality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, or Gatsby
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS or other modern styling frameworks
  • Familiarity with performance optimization and front-end best practices
  • Experience improving conversion funnels or multi-step user flows
  • Experience working within insurance, fintech, healthcare, or other regulated industries
  • Experience inheriting and improving existing production codebases

Why Join Elite Insurance Partners?

Benefits & Perks

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Additional PTO incentives through employee referral programs
  • Fully paid onsite gym with fitness classes and basketball court
  • Relaxation room with zero-gravity massage chairs
  • Freshly prepared breakfast and lunch options onsite
