About the job

As a Manager for Global Policy Advocacy - Business at YouTube, you will be a leader in the Government Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) organization. You will be responsible for driving a global, proactive issue advocacy and management agenda designed to shape public debate, drive YouTube and creator thought leadership, and condition the policy environment.

In this role, you will act as a "Campaign Architect" for YouTube’s most critical policy issues, owning end-to-end management of your portfolio. You are quick-witted, entrepreneurial and intellectually curious. To succeed in this role, you are willing to try new things and can manage numerous projects with tight deadlines. Things happen quickly at Google, and to do great work, you need to be an enthusiastic team player who can work cross-functionally with partners across PR, Communications, Marketing, Product, and beyond.
