Buckeye Power Sales has been providing on site power solutions for businesses, contractors, engineers, municipalities and homeowners since 1947, which makes us the oldest Rehlko (formerly Kohler) generator distributor in the country. We are also a distributor of Siemens Energy engines and generators for a wide range of power generation applications such as combined heat and power, waste to power, prime, and continuous. From power generation to light construction to grounds care - we have the machines, equipment, parts, programs & service to help you get the job done.

Our Applications Engineers are responsible for:
  • Promoting the Company and Rehlko brand systems
  • Conducting Engineering and Contractor presentations
  • Promoting and training Rehlko Power Solutions Software
  • Sizing and driving favorable specifications within affected Codes
  • Offering technical assistance within the Company and to customers
  • Attending meetings and contributing to company strategy and policy-making as required
  • Attending business functions, such as trade shows and conferences as a guest and/or presenter
  • Developing personal skills and capabilities through on-going training

Applications Engineer Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering desired or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience in electrical power systems preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • First rate customer service skills.
  • Advanced math skills.
  • Able to work well unsupervised; able to work independently
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to travel overnight.
  • Clean driving record; insurable with the company insurance carrier.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and periodic drug screens.

Salary is based on skills and experience.
