Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product design or UX.

As UX Design Lead for YouTube XR, you will be fully responsible for creating scalable and beautiful design systems across YouTube XR platforms. This includes areas like Video-on-Demand, Shorts, 360° and other immersive content. You will be the go-to UX design voice for all things YouTube XR, working closely with Engineering and PM XR leadership.

  • Establish UX strategies that reinforce user-centered mental models for new features .
  • Translate, evolve and expand YouTube's emerging design system to make it usable, delightful and beautiful on high-end XR platforms.
  • Build strong relationships and effective communication channels across the organization, including Android XR, YouTube Design Systems, and beyond.
  • Be a constant source of design inspiration across YouTube UX.
