Job description

We made history and now we work to transform the future - for our customers, our communities and our families. You'll see your work on the road every day, helping people move freely and pursue their dreams. At Ford, you can build more than vehicles.

Come build what matters. Racing is where our story began. In 1901, Henry Ford climbed into a car he built himself-"Sweepstakes"-and beat America's most famous driver.

He wasn't a racer, but he had to win. He did. Ford Motor Company was born from that victory.

That fighting spirit lives on in Ford Racing today. We're the engineers, strategists, and competitors who bring Ford's track-tested edge into every vehicle we build. Every track, every stage, every proving ground-that's where we prove ourselves.

The result: one of the world's most iconic brands, legendary nameplates, and a team unmatched in the industry. Our mantra: Race to win, engineer to lead. If you're a competitor, innovator, or performance obsessive, Ford Racing is where you belong.

Help us write the next chapter What you will do... Core Strategy & Execution: Develop, manage, and execute comprehensive social media strategies across major platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Threads) that align with overarching business and marketing goals. Live Event Coverage & Content Curation: Direct the social media strategy for live race events, representing Ford Racing on-site

Lead content creation and curation using Ford Racing assets (vehicles, teams, drivers, and activation moments) to fuel real-time coverage and pivot strategies on the fly. (Note: This requires a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends). Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the social media subject matter expert, partnering seamlessly with internal teams including PR, Communications, Engineering, Global Markets, Licensing, Dealer Relations, Design, and Product Marketing to weave social tactics into high-level, multi-channel campaigns.

Campaign, Budget & Agency Management: Oversee complex social campaigns from ideation through execution. Manage timelines and budgets, and guide external agency partners to ensure deliverables are on target and aligned with our platforms. Analytics, Insights & Presentations: Track performance data and community engagement across all channels.

Translate these metrics into actionable insights to sharpen content strategy, and build compelling presentation decks to guide cross-functional leadership and agency partners. External Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with social leads at sanctioning bodies, race teams, driver organizations, and other key external partners. Trend Spotting & Innovation: Maintain a relentless curiosity about digital culture.

Research emerging social trends, platform features, and audience behaviors to bring fresh ideas into Ford Racing's broader business strategy. You'll have... A Bachelor's degree in public relations, marketing, journalism, or a related field (equivalent experience welcome) 3-6 years of experience in marketing, with hands-on social media work Experience managing social channels in motorsports, sports, or a related fast-paced field (automotive experience is a plus, not a requirement) Strong working knowledge of major platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Threads) and how they fit into an integrated marketing plan A genuine curiosity about social trends and culture Strong presentation and communication skills Proven ability to juggle multiple projects, deliver on time, and stay within budget Comfort with a flexible schedule, including evenings/weekends during race events Even better, if you have..

Hands-on content creation skills (photo, video, editing) General familiarity with the motorsports industry You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply. As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home.

Will your career be a deep dive into what you love, or a series of new teams and new skills. Will you be a leader, a changemaker, a technical expert, a culture builder...or all of the above. No matter what you choose, we offer a work life that works for you, including: Immediate medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage Flexible family care days, paid parental leave, new parent ramp-up programs, subsidized back-up child care and more Family building benefits including adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, fertility treatments, and more Vehicle discount program for employees and family members and management leases Tuition assistance Established and active employee resource groups Paid time off for individual and team community service A generous schedule of paid holidays, including the week between Christmas and New Year's Day Paid time off and the option to purchase additional vacation time

This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $74,300-$124,500., This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $86,600-$144,900. Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
