Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
  • 5 years of experience with data analysis and SQL/MySQL.
  • Experience in system architecture and code comprehension/reading in one programming language (e.g., Java, C , Python).

Preferred qualifications:
  • 6 years of experience in a large global business using data and statistical analysis, and building data pipelines (e.g., SQL) and dashboard solutions to drive business outcomes.
  • Experience using AI/agentic tooling for analytics and performing statistical modeling in Python/R.

The YouTube Business Go-To-Market team is responsible for managing all go-to-market functions for YouTube, including strategy and business operations, analytics and data science, partnership enablement, and product activation. The team shapes go-to-market priorities to accelerate growth and resource the business accordingly, enhancing skills and capabilities to support execution of business priorities, managing efficiency across business operations, and building excellent infrastructure and tooling.
In this role, you will connect with the key audience and deliver measurable results. You will be responsible for influencing go-to-market priorities to accelerate Brand Deals growth by developing the data assets and insights needed to inform business critical, high impact, decisions across the intersection of YouTube, GBO and Ads. In addition to your technical skills, you will have need to demonstrate strategic and structured problem-solving skills, a desire to get things done and drive change across a global organization, and the ability to build partnerships across a group of colleagues. You will also get the opportunity to be with Google's AI technologies, and will have the ability to supercharge the team's productivity by building and leveraging the latest in AI and agentic problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Build scaled, data products (e.g., data pipelines, dashboards, AI-powered summaries) enable stakeholder teams to independently and consistently track and manage metrics at YouTube, focused on the Brand Deals business strategy.
  • Develop and communicate insights from both internal and external datasets, turning insights into narratives that influence and align key stakeholders and drive quantifiable business outcomes.
  • Partner and convert business requirements into scalable solutions and data-driven insights utilizing Google's internal processes and technologies, including AI/agentic-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with analysts, engineers and data scientists to identify and remove friction in data sourcing and user journeys, and advocate for standardized best practices to ensure quality.
  • Contribute to the overall success, productivity and development of the team by collaborating on novel AI and agentic solutions and proactively sharing ideas, insights and knowledge.
