With Shep & Ian still at the helm today, vineyard vines has experienced exponential year-over-year growth and now operates over 120 retail locations including an outlet division, a successful e-commerce business, domestic distribution center, and expanding corporate headquarters. In addition, vineyard vines is carried in major department stores such as Nordstrom and Bloomingdales as well as numerous specialty boutiques across the US.
vineyard vines was founded on a state of mind that Every day should feel this good. You don’t need to be on a beach, by the ocean, or on vacation to have #EDSFTG moments—it’s a state of mind where everyone is invited. At vineyard vines, we don’t just live an #EDSFTG life away from our desks—we bring it to work with us, too.

Overview: The Talent and Influencer Marketing Manager leads the strategy, development, and execution of vineyard vines’ global creator, influencer, and ambassador initiatives. This role is responsible for driving brand awareness, engagement, and revenue through authentic, high-impact talent partnerships that reflect our classic, coastal lifestyle.

You will own the overall influencer budget, lead multi-channel ambassador strategies, oversee campaign execution, and build scalable reporting structures to prove media value and business impact across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, build, and execute end-to-end talent and influencer strategies aligned with 360-degree brand campaigns, seasonal product launches, and regional retail moments.
  • Manage the overall influencer marketing budget. Negotiate complex, high-tier creator contracts, usage rights, and long-term brand ambassador agreements to maximize ROI and earned media value.
  • Direct the sourcing, vetting, and onboarding strategy for diverse digital talent—ranging from nano-creators to celebrity brand partners—ensuring alignment with the #EDSFTG aesthetic and brand values.
  • Oversee scalable influencer seeding, product gifting programs, and experiential activations (including hosted influencer trips, event sponsorships, and store launch VIP access).
  • Partner closely with PR, Social Media, E-Commerce, Retail, and Legal/Finance teams to ensure integrated messaging, compliance (FTC guidelines), and seamless conversion tracking.
  • Standardize analytics framework across paid and organic talent efforts. Deliver executive-level monthly recaps that track engagement, traffic, conversion, and brand sentiment using industry tools.
  • Direct relationships with external agency partners, platforms (e.g., CreatorIQ, GRIN, Captiv8), and talent management agencies.

What You Bring:

  • 4–6+ years of experience in influencer marketing, talent management, or brand communications, ideally within fashion, retail, or consumer lifestyle apparel.
Proven track record of building and scaling performance-driven influencer/creator programs from scratch.
  • Expert negotiation skills with deep knowledge of talent contracts, licensing, FTC compliance, and rate card benchmarks across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Strong analytical acumen: Demonstrated ability to measure organic/paid creator ROI, interpret data, and present performance stories to executive stakeholders.
  • Strategic cross-functional leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can influence partners across social, PR, e-commerce, and merchandising.
Deep fluency in digital culture: Sharp pulse on emerging creator trends, viral social formats, and rising cultural icons that match the vineyard vines lifestyle.
  • Experience managing direct reports, interns, or external agencies to execute operational logistics (seeding, tracking, mailing) while maintaining a strategic view.

Every Day Will Feel This Good Because:

  • We have a fun-spirited entrepreneurial culture filled with truly “good” people.
  • We offer a generous employee discount so you can rep our lifestyle on-and-off the boat.
  • We offer a competitive salary package, 401(k), commuter benefits, paid family leave, health savings/flex spending accounts, and life & disability insurance.
  • We have an onsite gym as well as health & financial wellness programs to keep you active.
  • We offer 2 summer Fridays to take off in addition to a competitive vacation policy & holiday calendar.
