  • Implements and supervises programs and activities for children and teens in accordance will all safety requirements and Company guidelines. 
  • Consistently delivers a welcoming and entertaining youth experience for our guests in accordance to brand standards. 
  • Owns their experience area and supports the development, implementation, and execution of initiatives; follows the Youth Program activity schedule as created by the Youth Activities Manager. 
  • Provides excellent service by demonstrating enthusiasm and genuine interest while working with both parents and children.
  • Helps the Youth Activities Manager plan and prepare activity schedules for all age groups per departmental policies and procedures. 
  •  Monitors inventory of supplies and equipment, and communicates procurement needs to Youth Activities Manager. 
  • Assists with prompt and accurate Youth Program documentation and administration, including registration cards, sign-in sheets and forms, guest in Focus files, and incident reports. 
  • Consistently exceeds the Entertainment Youth and Family Experience defined targets by driving a personalized guest and teammate centric and experience culture. 
  • Participates productively in Youth Staff meetings, orientations for new staff, and training and development programs as directed by the Youth Activities Manager. 

  • Formal education or credential in education or related field is strongly preferred. 
  • A minimum of two (2) years of previous work experience in a youth-related field is required; this may include learning, recreation, teaching, or similar.
  • Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written.
  • Fluent Japanese language skills, both spoken and written.
  • Understanding of the foundation of guest service; ability and willingness to deliver outstanding service to our guests. 
  • Motivation to excel in all aspects of job duties and responsibilities. 
  • Personable communicator with outstanding social skills and a warm, friendly, and caring personality. 
  • Ability to continuously surprise and delight guests throughout their cruise experience. 
  • Commitment to establish and maintain courteous and professional working relationships in a diverse cultural environment.
  • Medical First Aid / BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required.
