POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Youth Program Director, the Program Coordinator supports the successful delivery of Youth programming at the Princeton branch of GSCYMCA. This is done through support with scheduling, staff oversight, program development, and any other functions that support the branches' goals.

  • Enrichment programming
  • Sports programming
  • Summer Camp

Requirements
  • Oversee and manage child care and youth programs, including daily operations, activity planning, scheduling, facility coordination, and maintaining program records and compliance documentation.
  • Manage program administration and enrollment operations, including application processing, registration systems, attendance tracking, and maintaining accurate participant and program data.
  • Ensure program quality, safety, and compliance with organizational standards, state licensing, and other regulatory or stakeholder requirements through regular evaluation, inspections, and adherence to best practices.
  • Lead program development and continuous improvement, including assessing community needs, expanding offerings, and monitoring program participation and outcomes.
  • Train, schedule, and support staff and volunteers, fostering a diverse, high-performing team and supporting professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with staff, families, community partners, and stakeholders while delivering excellent customer service and clear communication.
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to provide operational support, ensure coverage, and contribute to organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Support marketing, outreach, and community engagement efforts, including promotion of programs, participation in events, fundraising, and committee involvement.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and program data to support evaluation, funding requirements, and organizational decision-making.
  • Participate in ongoing training and perform additional duties as needed to support overall operations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • Associate's degree in early childhood education, Child Development or a related field preferred
  • One to two years related work experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
