About The Colorado LiftED Foundation
The Colorado LiftED Foundation is a long-term partner to youth. We believe that when we make a deep, long-term commitment to youth and their families, our whole community thrives. We walk side-by-side with youth and their families as they navigate school and life, offering academic, social, and emotional support as they learn, grow, and work toward their dreams.
No one should have to take this journey alone. Since our founding in 1988, we have leveraged proven methods to give youth equal access to the resources they need to succeed and ignite their innate potential. When we keep our promises, anything is possible.
Our Vision
A Colorado where every young person has equal access to educational and career opportunities that will ignite their innate potential.
Our Values
A Seat at the Table: In any decision we are making, we have an open seat at the table for our youth, families, and communities.
An Inch Wide, A Mile Deep: We impact a small group, but we support them deeply and with everything we have.
Once A Dreamer, Always a Dreamer: Longevity and an unshakeable commitment throughout a youth's life are at the core of what we do and how we do it.
Whatever It Takes: We will do whatever is in our power to find the way forward.
We Not Me: Collaboration and partnership make everything and anything possible

  • Program Facilitation:
Lead in-person learning sessions for youth in after-school and summer programming, utilizing lessons and activities based on CLF's specific curriculum.
  • Coaching & Feedback: Participate in regular coaching and feedback sessions with the Site Leader and Assistant Site Leader to ensure the successful execution of enrichment programs and the implementation of culturally responsive and trauma-informed care practices.
  • Data Analysis: Input and review youth data consistently to recognize trends and inform targeted interventions.

College & Career Development and Systems Advocacy
  • Culture Alignment: Support a site culture driven by career aspirations and college exposure.
  • Youth Advocacy: Collaborate with our LiftED Horizons (Emotional Wellness) team to fulfill individual need requests for youth and families (e.g., food, rent assistance, medical support).
  • Family Advocacy: Support strong family involvement through a minimum of bi-weekly check-ins, engagement activities, and home visits to foster deep relationships and communication.
  • Organizational Advocacy: Serve as a community resource to advocate for values and issues aligned with the Foundation's mission.

Other Duties
  • Recruitment & Retention:
Assist with youth and family recruitment, enrollment, and retention processes.
  • Relationship Building: Prioritize building strong, healthy relationships with and among youth.
  • Team Participation: Participate in all-staff training, meetings, and foundation events.

Skills and Qualifications
  • At least two years of experience working with elementary or middle school-aged children.
  • Experience with lesson planning and execution; solid understanding of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL).
  • An unwavering belief that all youth can achieve and be successful.
  • A record of accomplishment in contributing to an organizational culture that fosters equity, inclusion, and a true sense of belonging.
  • Experience working with community partners in the Denver Metro area.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Language: Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Flexibility to work until 6:00 PM on weeknights.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and special events as needed.
