About the Role:
Youth Athletes United - Capital Region in Albany, NY is looking for a passionate and energetic Youth Hip Hop Dance Instructor to inspire the next generation of dancers! This is your chance to combine your love of movement and performance with the rewarding experience of shaping young lives through dance. If you thrive in a fun, high-energy environment and have a gift for connecting with kids, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate dance classes for youth students of varying skill levels
  • Teach foundational dance techniques across styles such as hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, or other relevant genres
  • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and confidence
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement
  • Choreograph routines for recitals, showcases, or special performances
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development and class updates
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe studio space during classes
Requirements:
