Companion Support
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide companion and personal support services to a young man in his home and community. The individual enjoys routine, shopping, community outings, and social activities. He benefits from consistent support to stay engaged, follow his daily schedule, and participate successfully in activities of his choice.
Responsibilities:
Provide companion support in home and community settings
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal care as needed
Support participation in community activities, shopping, and recreational outings
Provide reminders, prompts, and guidance to help maintain routines and stay on task
Encourage independence, social engagement, and skill maintenance
Ensure health, safety, and overall well-being during support hours
