Vitality Bowls Superfood Café West Bloomfield is looking for passionate, health-minded, and energetic individuals to join our team. We are all about promoting health and wellness while delivering delicious açaí bowls, smoothies, fresh juices, wraps, salads and paninis. Come join a fun environment with relaxed atmosphere and be proud of what you are serving!
Job Description:
  • Evening shifts have a high priority on prepping, cleaning and organization
  • Make fresh food including Acai bowls, smoothies, salads and wraps, (no fryers or ovens)
  • Be comfortable working in a fast paced environment at times
  • Prep food and restock items
  • Have excellent customer service, including being positive and extremely polite
  • Assist and ring up guests, answer phone calls and take orders over the phone
  • Keep kitchen and lobby clean
  • Put away deliveries and keep everything organized
  • Washing and put away dishes
  • Work as a team when multiple orders come in
  • Follow checklists for opening and closing duties

Requirements:
  • Must be able to handle a basic computer, POS system; handling cash and credit cards
  • Follow health, sanitary, and safety requirements
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, occasionally lift heavy boxes, move quickly and have a sense of urgency
  • Maintain a clean and work appropriate personal appearance
  • Come to work with a positive attitude, and are willing to work well with others
