ROLE SUMMARY
A CorePower Yoga (CPY) 200 Hour Teacher Training (TT) Coach delivers an extraordinary experience through curating a welcoming environment for all and supporting growth for their students and peers. They support the Lead Facilitation Team to guide CPY 200 Hour TT participants through the 200 Hour Program experience by facilitating 200 Hour TT lecture, leading small group coaching, and providing personalized feedback and support to program participants. The 200 Hour TT Coach is committed to expanding the continued education of the CPY community and has a heart to lead, develop, and coach others to their fullest potential. This individual must be adaptable to change, strong in time management skills, and proficient in project execution. The 200 Hour TT Coach preferably has prior coaching or facilitation experience and exhibits a passion for yoga learning and program development. This individual commits to weekly teaching, facilitation, and mentorship support of 200 Hour TT participants for the run of the program. The 200 Hour TT Coach cultivates supportive relationships by making themselves accessible and approachable, communicating effectively, and following through on tasks efficiently.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Provide yoga instruction by teaching CorePower Yoga classes, adhering to CPY yoga quality standards
- Actively teach CPY formats as an instructor, a minimum of 2 regularly scheduled classes weekly
-Is certified in C2 and YS and ideally in HPF
-Support enrollment for their 200 Hour TT program by having growth conversations with students
- Participate in facilitation, coaching, and 200 Hour TT student mentorship for teacher training sessions
- Partner and meet with 200 Hour TT Core Team members to prepare for coaching and lecture facilitation
- Act as a leader, provide support and guidance to students and peers
EDUCATION, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 200-hour RYT certification recognized by Yoga Alliance
- E-RYT 200 designation preferred
- Current with Yoga Alliance registration
- Preferred 1+ years of teaching experience with CPY
- Current CPR/AED certification required
- Must be available to work 6-10 additional hours per week as a CPY 200 Hour TT Coach during the 13 weeks of programming
- Must be 18 years or older
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills
- Organized and able to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to lead students in physical activity for a maximum 1.5 hours at a time
- Ability to withstand exposure to heated classroom for the duration of class when
teaching in studio classes
