Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist at Postural Therapeutic Outreach Clinic, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering personalized treatment sessions that align with the unique goals of each patient, ensuring effective progress tracking.
  • Managing a caseload that allows for individualized attention to each patient, enhancing the quality of care provided.
  • Applying your deep knowledge of orthopedic outpatient care to create and implement effective rehabilitation programs based on patient assessments.
  • Incorporating evidence-based practices to develop comprehensive care plans which may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and education.
  • Educating patients about alternative pain management options and advocating for non-surgical interventions when appropriate.
  • Motivating and supporting patients throughout their rehabilitation journey with ongoing encouragement and wellness advice.
  • Engaging in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure seamless patient assessments and treatment adjustments.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation in an electronic medical records system (EMR), particularly utilizing WebPT, to track patient progress and treatment outcomes efficiently.
  • Regularly evaluating patient progress and adjusting treatment plans to meet evolving needs.
  • Promoting health, strength, flexibility, and overall wellness through tailored fitness programs.
