Job description

Senior Project Manager (IT Infrastructure) Mechanicsburg, PA Must be a US Citizen, able to pass a Federal Background Check @Orchard LLC is pursuing an opportunity in support of the Department of the Navy, located in Mechanicsburg, PA, supporting vital IT Infrastructure work including Cloud Services, Business Intelligence (BI), Data Warehouse (Yellowbrick), AI, and Machine Learning (ML). We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to be proposed to lead this critical multi-year engagement. Please review the details below and apply if your experience aligns.

As the Senior IT Project Manager, you will: ·       Perform planning and execution management for applications in the AWS GovCloud. ·       Provide Architecture support for an existing Cloud environment. ·       Provide a road map for the next phase of application rationalization.

·       Provide oversight and support for a knowledge transfer from lessons learned from the next phase of research, so that it can be implemented with minimal possible disruption to any other work in progress on the program. ·       Manage resources for sustaining SAS applications within the cloud. ·       Provide a sizing review post-cloud go-live of the lift and shift and recommendations to adjust the sizing of the hardware/software in the cloud.

Your background will include: ·       Must be a US Citizen able to pass a DOD Background Investigation. ·       Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field ·       DOD 8570 certified ·       PMP certification ·       Demonstrated experience in architecting at an Enterprise level and supporting AWS Cloud environments as a Project Manager, including Data Warehouse and BI reporting components.
