• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs and create personalized treatment plans that leverage individual strengths while addressing areas of growth.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Collaborate closely with other clinicians in staff meetings and supervision sessions, sharing insights and refining approaches to foster effective treatment outcomes.
• Establish measurable therapeutic goals in partnership with clients, continuously evaluating their progress and adjusting strategies to optimize recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring all client interactions and treatment plans are well recorded.
• Engage in professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on the latest therapeutic modalities and mental health trends.

This position involves working with a diverse clientele, including individuals seeking support for trauma, anxiety, depression, and addiction, as well as couples and families navigating relational dynamics. Your cultural competency and ability to connect empathically will be crucial in fostering trust and promoting client engagement throughout the therapeutic process. Experience working with various populations, including children and teens, will further enrich our capacity to serve the community effectively.

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Active and valid state-issued license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of two years of full-time counseling experience, demonstrating a solid grasp of therapeutic principles and techniques.
• Proven experience working with couples, children, adolescents, and families, particularly those from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with culturally responsive practices that effectively meet the needs of clients of color and the LGBTQIA community.
• Specialized training in areas such as trauma-informed care, addictions counseling, or family systems theory is a plus.

Yellow Stone Counseling Services offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
