If you possess a deep mastery of mathematics and seek consistent, well-paying tutoring work without the burden of administrative overhead, Tutor Doctor of Marin County invites you to apply. We place experienced math experts with 6th-12th grade students. We handle all client matching, scheduling, and billing so you focus on delivering high-level instruction.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one math tutoring for middle and high school students (grades 6-12). Read and interpret student assessment results to inform instruction. Apply targeted teaching strategies based on assessment reports and student needs. Deliver curriculum from Pre-Algebra through Calculus, Statistics, and beyond. Align instruction with school curriculum and individual student academic goals. Track progress and maintain proactive communication with families and our team.

Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Math, Engineering, Science, or a related field required.
Experience:
4+ years of professional math tutoring or teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degrees (Masters/PhD), general teaching credentials, or special education credentials; proficiency in AP/IB-level Calculus or Statistics.
Expectations:
Deep subject matter expertise, reliability, and effectiveness with adolescents.
