Job description

Commercial Roofer (Traveling) – Government Projects

Location: Nationwide – Traveling Position

Employment Type: Full-Time (W2 Employees)

Pay Range: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience) plus benefits

Jaxon Construction Inc. is seeking an experienced and dependable Commercial Roofer to join our growing team. We specialize in commercial and government roofing projects throughout the United States and are looking for a motivated individual who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and professionalism.  You will be leading a team of workers of all skill levels.  Your expertise will be what is expected at each project.  This is a Leadership position.

Responsibilities

  • Install commercial roofing systems, including TPO, PVC, EPDM, standing seam metal, shingles, and other roofing systems.
  • Perform roof tear-offs, repairs, and complete roof replacements.
  • Install insulation, flashing, edge metal, roof accessories, and related components.
  • Follow project specifications and manufacturer installation requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
  • Follow OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies.
  • Travel to project locations as required.

Exterior Support (As Needed)

  1. Siding**
  2. Gutters**
  3. Metal break/forming + exterior sheet metal work**
  4. Other exterior tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial roofing experience.
  • Experience with TPO, PVC, EPDM, and metal roofing preferred.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and use common roofing tools.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus but not required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Willingness to travel for out-of-town projects.
