The Warehouse & Yard Operator plays a critical role in supporting daily warehouse and yard operations by ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of materials. This role helps maintain inventory accuracy, supports production through timely material delivery, and contributes to overall operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
As a Warehouse and Yard Associate, you will be responsible for:
  • Overseeing inbound deliveries of materials from suppliers, plant and field locations to verify quantities and stock levels
  • Ensuring receipt of completed products and assemblies from in-house production to document and prepare for delivery
  • Picking materials, components and end products to be delivered to production or for shipping
  • Preparing component kits for production, orders and supplier subcontract parts to ensure correct delivery of requirements
  • Performing cycle counts of stock to ensure accurate cleanup and maintained inventory

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent level of education and demonstrate good, related experience
  • Have the ability to read and interpret routine instructions, correspondence and memos
  • Have a basic understanding of Math
  • Have proficiency in multiple software systems (i.e. Outlook, SAP, Microsoft Office)
  • Be able to operate a forklift while loading or unloading freight
  • Have the ability to work in a physical environment that can often involve heavy lifting
  • Be a good team player and display good communication skills
  • Have the ability to work inside or outside during seasonal weather conditions
  • 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off. The work schedule is a 12 hour shift everyday while on site for those 3 weeks.
