Job description

OVERVIEW: The Yacht Service/Maintenance Technician provides service and maintenance as needed for the new and used yacht inventory. This position includes general of "crew" type maintenance through a planned maintenance systems designed to maintain the product on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis and providing a maintenance log to the new owner
KEY TASKS:
  • Conduct the necessary maintenance checks and repairs as described in the maintenance program in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide proper documentation, such as labor tickets, work order updates including a description of the work performed.
  • Communicate with the service advisors and/or parts department to obtain necessary parts and supplies timely.
  • Notify service advisors when repairs beyond the scope of this position are necessary and follow-up on completion
  • Update vessel maintenance logs upon completion of service
  • Available to work additional hours when necessary
  • Travel to additional locations when necessary to maintain inventory
  • Maintain vehicle log and ensure cleanliness
  • Project a knowledgeable and professional image at all times
  • Other duties as assigned.
