Xray Supervisors are healthcare professionals responsible for overseeing the daily operations of radiology departments or imaging centers, particularly those involving X-ray technologies. They ensure that all imaging procedures are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards. Xray Supervisors manage radiologic technologists, maintain equipment, handle scheduling, and may also participate in training and quality assurance activities. Their role is crucial in maintaining high standards of patient care and imaging accuracy.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Xray supervisor?

To thrive as an Xray Supervisor, you need expertise in radiologic technology, a valid ARRT certification, and experience in diagnostic imaging procedures.
