CT Technologist – Petaluma, CA

The CT Technologist supports a moderately busy, full-service imaging department serving primarily outpatient and emergency room patients, with occasional operating room cases. This role requires experience in both CT and X-ray imaging, flexibility with variable start times, and the ability to float between like imaging units as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CT scanners, portable X-ray units, and C-arm equipment.

  • Prepare and position patients to optimize image quality and ensure patient comfort and safety.

  • Assist with fluoroscopy studies and surgical C-arm procedures.

  • Document procedures and patient information accurately within Epic or equivalent EMR/RIS systems.

  • Monitor equipment performance, ensure readiness, and maintain necessary imaging supplies.

  • Float between like imaging units as operational needs require.

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a CT Technologist.

  • Proficiency in both CT and X-ray imaging.

  • ARRT (R) certification.

  • BLS certification.

  • Valid fluoroscopy permit.

  • Ability to work variable start shifts within the day shift window.
