X-Ray Technician / Radiologic Technologist (RT)

The X-Ray Technician / Radiologic Technologist (RT) is responsible for performing diagnostic X-ray examinations while assisting with basic clinical support in an urgent care setting. This role provides high-quality imaging services, supports patient flow, and delivers compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations of the upper and lower extremities, spine, abdomen, and chest
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures and ensure proper positioning for accurate results
  • Follow radiation safety standards and imaging protocols
  • Assist with basic medical assistant duties, including obtaining vital signs and rooming patients
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Ensure imaging equipment is clean, safe, and functioning properly
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to provide efficient patient care
  • Maintain a professional, positive, and patient-focused environment
  • Assist with additional clinical duties as needed and remain available to support patient care beyond scheduled hours when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Active X-Ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist (RT) license/certification in the applicable state required
